We are changing to a local Market Place classifieds structure. We want it to be as simple as possible.
Individual Ad Users can post into the site “classified ads” of products for sale under the Primary category, Marketplace Ads.
We will also include a “Category” Marketplace Sales where garage sales, estate sales, etc. can be listed, there will also be a map page (see Sample Sale here).
The website will start with FREE classified listings, we will see where this takes us.
OUR PURPOSE
An easy to use platform for Classified Ads and Sales Listings:
Categorized for Easy Browsing: Classified ads and Sales Listings are organized into specific categories to make it easy for buyers to find what they are looking for.
A Cost-Effective Advertising Medium: Classified ads and Sale listings will be FREE. As the website grows and becomes known hopefully we can figure a cost effective way to keep it active and accessible for the Ads Users, shoppers and buyers. Beyond Traditional Use: While newspapers were a primary platform for classified ads, their role diminished with the rise of the internet, online classified sites emerged to provide similar services, and social media platforms also incorporated classified-style advertising features.
Expectations: Carmichael Marketplace aims to bring simplicity back into the process by keeping the process as simple and affordable as possible.
MARKETPLACE ADS and MARKETPLACE SALE LISTINGS:
Marketplace Ads: A category for selling products for sale by individual “Ads User”. Giving them a platform to control the ad (within the TERMS for using the website platform), payment method, delivery method, negotiations between themselves (the seller) and the shopper (buyer). Always use Marketplace Ads as the primary category (this is required for the ad to be visible). While no other category is required adding the appropriate sub-category will enhance the ability for shoppers to search or find an item quicker.
Marketplace Sales: The Primary category for listing a sale (such as a Garage Sale) again within the TERMS of using the website platform. You must always use Marketplace Sales as the primary category for the Sale ad to be visible, then use the appropriate Zip Code category, as seen “HERE“ , THIS will enhance the ability for shoppers to find the sale easier.

ADS USER
All Ad Users will need to register and will require confirmation and approval to post classified Marketplace Ads or marketplace Sales. To use this Site, you must agree to the “Terms”. When registering please include all information required.
TERMS
ADS: Please do not use bad language, inappropriate photos, false advertising or products that are defective unless described as defective and is for display only, products that are legally banned, junk, weapons, ammunition, products that you do not own or have authority to sell or are offensive.
SALES: Sales apply to Garage, Estate, Yard, Flea Market, Community. This is not a commercial ecommerce site, it has been created to fill the classified ads section of newspapers so that individual registered “Ad User” can sell items locally and negotiate directly with the seller or buyer.
PHOTOS: up to 10 photos may be displayed, photos are not required for either ads or sales. Photos must be appropriate to the ad or sale listing. Please no offensive or inappropriate photos.
GENERAL: Ads must be put in the Marketplace Ads category and in an appropriate sub-category or the uncategorized category. Sales must be put in the Marketplace Sales category and in the appropriate type and zip code sub-category.
